If you are an ice skater moving to or currently residing in the Tampa Bay area, we would love to have you become a part of our Club. Membership in U.S. Figure Skating is encouraged through joining member clubs at the local level, providing such benefits as priority for home club test sessions, competitions, club activities (parties, etc) and much more.
Tampa Bay Skating Club offers several categories of membership:

Volunteer Hours
Club members are required to have a total of 10 hours of volunteer time per season, running July 1st – June 30th.
– The 10 hours are per family; for example: if you have more than one club member, you are only required to have 10 hours combined. This includes the free non-skating parent membership.
– You can keep track of your hours through your Club Entryeeze account! Sign in to your account, go to the menu bar, select Volunteer and from there you can select your hours. It will show the hours for your entire family.

-Once you have completed your volunteer hours, please send an email to the Club just to make sure your hours get recorded. Include the Club member’s name, the number of hours and what the hours were for (email: tampabayskatingclub@gmail.com).
Volunteer Opportunities:
- Orange Blossom (Volunteer hours are doubled for this event)
- Test Sessions
- Club Events (parties, clinics, etc)
- Donations (every $10 worth of items donated equals 1 hour of volunteer time)
There is also a ‘buy out‘ option for our members – $200 for the season. This is an option you can select in your Club account on Entryeeze, listed under the Merchandise tab. We do, however, highly encourage everyone to participate in Club events as a way to get to know other Club members/parents and understand a little more about all the fun and exciting plans we have moving forward! It also gives you a direct opportunity to provide feedback and ideas to make this Club even more successful!
Current Volunteer Opportunities!!
This year’s Orange Blossom Open (being held at Clearwater Ice Arena) is going to be one of our biggest competitions yet! Starting on Thursday, July 13 through Sunday, July 16, 2023, we will be hosting nearly 370 skaters and need everyone’s help! And, on Saturday and Sunday, we will be holding events on both sheets of ice – so we will need to double up on our ice monitors, announcers, music and runners. Be sure to check out ALL of the volunteer opportunities below.
